10 Animals That Refuse To Die Like Normal Creatures (3 of 6)

4. Jellyfish

Turritopsis dohrnii, known better as the “immortal jellyfish,” is, as its nickname suggests, immortal. Quite literally, too. When injured or starving, it simply reverts to its baby form and starts life over. No headache, no hassle—pure survival genius. Imagine if you got back pain one day and just turned back into a toddler to dodge all the suffering and adult responsibilities.

5. Frogs

The wood frog Rana sylvatica turns into a literal frogsicle in winter. Its heart stops. It stops breathing. Two-thirds of its body freezes. And yet, when spring rolls around, it thaws and hops away like nothing happened. Their blood contains antifreeze-like chemicals, which is basically Mother Nature saying, “Rough winter? Hit that pause button, sweetie.” Who wouldn’t want a power like that?
