An actor with 20 years of experience in theater, television, and movies, Chadwick Boseman was both highly decorated (he won a Golden Globe, an Emmy, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and was nominated for an Oscar) and respected for his philanthropy. He became an international star with his performances as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His death from colon cancer was announced on August 28th, 2020, and there was a huge outpouring of grief because it took everybody by surprise.
